A contributor to several Open Source projects, Scott has seen the value of Open Source in the private sector and has returned to the University to help share what he has learned.

Scott is tasked with promoting the use of Open Source and developing relationships with the Open Source community and the private sector.

Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science he received from Oregon State University in 1997.

Peter is an Enterprise Developer working on J2EE, Java, and enterprise middleware solutions at the Open Source Lab

Deb is responsible for Open Source Lab's outreach and education programs for state and local government. She is currently developing the Government Open Source Conference to be held in Portland, Oregon in the fall of 2005. Visit goscon.org for more details.

Deb most recently comes from Oregon State Government, where she gained an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities for the use of Open Source in government. Her interest in Open Source came from private sector work in emerging technologies and later, in policy development for the public sector.
